Reflections on We Make This City

Working with the We Make This CIty program was the boost we needed to get the Magnificent Revolution project off the ground.  Working with the support of COFA and City of Sydney gave us a great deadline to work towards, to design and build Australia’s first 8 bike Cycle In Cinema.

Latest Events – What will be next?


We have been busy during March with gigs including an Earth Hour Cycle In Cinema at Balls Head Reserve overlooking Sydney Harbour at Waverton, we took a trip to Canberra and did a screening with Canberra Food Co-operative and we also powered the sound for the People’s Occupation of the World’s Largest Coal Port put on by Rising Tide Newcastle.

Pedal power on the Murray River

MRA is very happy to have been invited to join the Time’s Up Boating Association crew as part of the Australian leg of the Control of Commons project.  Time’s Up will be boating down the Murray River and chatting to the community’s they come across.

Time’s Up is trying to uncover an understanding of how people interact and relate to one another when they are joined by a single watercourse.  Does knowing one’s river neighbour change the way they feel, think and interact with the river?  And each other? Continue reading
